I forward to you a complaint that I have lodged with an Telecom service provider involving a user of your platform. _Complaint Regarding Online Telegram Scam I am writing to report a Telegram fraud under Account user name Jennifer Asante 555* using a Ghanaian Telecom Company, Telecel registered mobile wallet numbers to committ this crime causing me to loose approximately GHS120,000. She presented an online job opportunity to me. I was told that I could earn commissions by completing online shopping tasks. They explained the process to me and guided me through the tasks. I genuinely believed that this was a legitimate job opportunity. I was instructed to make payments in order to complete certain tasks, with the understanding that I would receive my money back along with a commission after completing them. I followed their instructions because I believed what I was being told. As the process continued, I was asked to make increasingly larger payments. I did not realise at the time that I was being scammed. I have now realised that the people contacting me were not offering genuine employment and that the phone numbers they used were involved in the scam. I am therefore reporting this telegram user numbers to your network because I am concerned that they may be used to scam other people as I have screenshots of the conversations, payment records and other information relating to the individuals who contacted me, and I can provide these if required. I genuinely believed that I was taking part in legitimate online work and did not knowingly participate in any fraudulent activity. I am extremely upset about what has happened and would appreciate your help in investigating the numbers used and preventing other people from being affected in the same way.
