By accessing or using ScamSearch ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

ScamSearch is a community-driven platform that allows users to submit and view reports about potential scams and fraudulent activity. The Platform serves as a passive repository for user-generated content and does not verify or endorse any submitted information.
3. User Responsibilities
When using the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information to the best of your knowledge
- Not submit false, defamatory, or malicious reports
- Not use the Platform for harassment, doxxing, or personal vendettas
- Not submit content that is illegal, obscene, or violates third-party rights
- Not attempt to manipulate, hack, or disrupt the Platform
- Take responsibility for all content you submit
4. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited:
- False or knowingly inaccurate reports
- Personal information beyond what is necessary (doxxing)
- Content that constitutes defamation or libel
- Hate speech, threats, or harassment
- Copyrighted material without authorization
- Malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Spam or commercial solicitation
5. Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, is reported as false or inaccurate, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to remove content that is:
- Demonstrably false or defamatory
- Illegal under applicable law
- Subject to a valid legal request or court order
- In violation of our community guidelines

6. Intellectual Property
By submitting content to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform. You retain ownership of your content but acknowledge that it may be viewed and shared by others.
7. DMCA Notice
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to legal@scamsearch.org including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the infringing material and its location
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
- Your physical or electronic signature
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL SCAMSEARCH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScamSearch from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
